Cloquet-Carlton falls to Benilde St. Margaret’s in Class AA semifinals

On Thursday the Cloquet-Carlton girl’s soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to Benilde St. Margaret’s in the Class AA semifinals at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Red Knights scored twice in the first half then added insurance with a third goal in the second half.
Katelyn Olson tallied three saves in net for Cloquet.
The Lumberjacks (17-3) will face the Academy of Holy Angels for third place Friday. Kickoff is set for 11am at the West St. Paul Athletics Center.
