Charity golf scramble to be held in Eveleth native Mark Pavelich’s memory
The Ranch: Teammates for Life Organization is hosting a golf scramble in honor of Mark Pavelich on Monday at Giant's Ridge.[The Ranch: Teammates for Life Organization]
The memory of Miracle on Ice star, University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) alum, and Eveleth native Mark Pavelich will be honored with a series of events throughout this weekend and early next week.
One of them is a golf scramble hosted by The Ranch: Teammates for Life Organization on Monday at Giants Ridge in Biwabik.
Money raised from the event will go towards a future ranch facility where athletes, and others, can find help for mental health struggles. Pavelich died by suicide on March 4th of this year.
Proceeds from the scramble will also go back towards helping Pavelich’s alma maters; UMD and Eveleth youth hockey organizations.
