The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team is set to return home this weekend.

They’re riding an unexpected week off due to Covid-19 protocols. As of Wednesday morning head coach Scott Sandelin said it’s possible the Bulldogs could be back up to a full, healthy roster for their series against Miami University in Ohio.

Additionally UMD could see the return of fifth year defenseman Louie Roehl and freshman forward Dominic James both coming off of injuries.

"Hoping they’ll be rested and ready to go," Sandelin said. "They’re both doing fine. I think that time has obviously helped, so we’ll see but I think they both should be available to play."

The Bulldogs (11-8-1) are set to drop the puck against Miami Friday at 7:07pm at AMSOIL Arena, and Saturday at 7:07pm.
