Former University of Minnesota Duluth women’s hockey assistant coach Ashleigh Brykaliuk has agreed to a contract with the Minnesota Whitecaps on Tuesday.

This will be her first season in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) formerly the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL). She previously spent a season in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) from 2017-18, tallying 25 points in 28 games.

Helping UMD to the frozen four last season, she became just the 4th Bulldog to skate in and coach a NCAA quarterfinal game.
