Boy’s basketball playoffs: Esko, Duluth Marshall, Duluth East advance

In boy’s prep basket ball Friday night it was a round two matchup in section 7A between No.12 Fon Du Lac, and No.5 Duluth Marshall.

Marshall would control the play majority of the game winning 65-46. They advance to play Mountain Iron Buhl Saturday at 12:30 p.m.

In 7AA it was Esko hosting International Falls.

Esko would start strong and use a multi-point game from Makoi Perich to move on with a 87-38 win.

Duluth East was also in action for the section 7AAAA quarterfinals against Blaine.

It was a close match that saw East win by two points, 60-58. They will take on Andover in the semifinals.
