Boy Scouts made a popcorn donation, valued at $1500 dollars, to the 194th of the Minnesota National Guard Thursday afternoon.

“We’re just so thankful. This is the second time our organization has been selected to receive a popcorn donation from the Boy Scouts," said Lt. Daniel Erickson. "I know, oftentimes through the training we receive out at Camp Ripley, it’s a great snack for the soldiers to have while conducting their training."

During their visit, the scouts also got to play with some of the night vision gear and check out the inner workings of the Humvees.

“I think it’s very fun,” said Gino Minardi with Pack #43. “I think we are doing a great and I think we are helping the National Guard get popcorn."
