The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey team took on the Beavers from Bemidji State University Friday afternoon.

After a scoreless first period it would be UMD that showed their offensive power scoring four goals in the second.

Naomi Rogge, Katie Davis, and Anna Klein would each collect two goals, as UMD won by the final of 8-2.

"Just moving the puck really well, using each other from the D-zone all the way up the ice, I thought there was great creativity in the O-zone," head coach Maura Crowell said. "The goals were really a lot of highlight reel goals and really proud of the way we played tonight."

Rematch against Bemidji will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
