Legendary former Ashland football head coach Robert McLeod passed away over the weekend.
The 1963 Hayward graduate was 76 years old.
The Oredockers Hall of Famer led the team to a state title in 1993, including a perfect 13-0 run, and a state runner up finish in 1995. He was also inducted into the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Throughout his career McLeod was named conference coach of the year 10 times and district coach of the year three times.
