There will soon be drone deliveries in Northern California. Amazon is launching Prime Air outside Sacramento. Packages five pounds or less will be delivered to customers within an hour. Amazon says the drones have safety systems to avoid obstacles, including other aircraft.

The FDA has cleared the way for the Apple Watch to be used as a tool for patients with Parkinson’s Disease thanks to its motion sensors. The agency granted approval to a digital health startup to pair its software with the watch. It wil track symptoms such as tremors and allow doctors to access the data.

Finally, Sony is out with a new high end Walkman. The mp3 player costs $3,700 as it uses gold to improve sound quality.
There’s also a $1,400 version. Both Walkman models are compatible with most music streaming services.
