The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland got a pretty special gift today that will benefit the kids and events to come. The accounting and consulting firm of RSM presented the Boys and Girls Clubs with a check for 16,300 dollars.

The funds were raised by RSM employees over the last several months through fundraisers involving their RSM Foundation and their annual classic golf tournament ‘Birdies Fore Love.’ The funds will be used for Boys and Girls Club programs and events for Northland kids.

"This allows us to continue operating and providing programs daily. We provide an afternoon meal every day to our club members, which during the pandemic has been an incredible need for that. Also, we’ve lost some other funding due to the pandemic. There were some other events and fundraisers that we couldn’t do so this helps to bridge that gap,” said CEO of the boys and girls clubs of the northland, Todd Johnson.

With donations, fundraisers, and support from the community, the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland can continue to support and serve more than 5,000 kids which they do each year.
