6-run sixth inning powers Duluth Huskies to win over Mankato

A 6-run sixth inning powered the Duluth Huskies to a 12-5 road win over the Mankato MoonDogs on Wednesday night.

The Huskies got on the board first with a leadoff home run from Michael Brooks.

On the mound, Tony Cortez went four innings, giving up three runs, and striking out three batters.

Jake Schelonka picked up the win for the Huskies as he threw three shutout innings, striking out two batters.

The Huskies will look to sweep the MoonDogs on Thursday.
