Let us introduce you to a boy named Thor. Thor is a courageous rock climber that comes every week to rock-climb with his sister and mom. He is here because of an organization called, Courage Kenny. Now what makes Courage Kenny special is that it is a Rehabilitation Institute that is one of a kind, it provides support and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and community services.

“He was born 12 weeks early, which has caused some special needs, I suppose. But overall, he’s a big sunshine in her life,” says his mother, Sara Johnston.

The sunshine is everywhere as one of Courage Kenny’s main goals is to help folks achieve their highest level of independence, health and wellness. Folks of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds come to take part in the wide range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and community services.

“It’s been so encouraging. It’s just very rewarding and super rewarding for him too. And that in turn makes it so rewarding for me, of course, being the parent. I can’t say enough good about it. And the volunteers are great,” finishes Johnston.
