Snow guns are going, as ski hills get ready for the season

The snow guns are going, and people who work at ski hills in the Northland are getting ready to welcome guests back to the slopes.

Spirit Mountain turned on their guns on Friday night. They hope to be open on Thanksgiving weekend.

Jon Regenold, Director of Resort Services, said, “We’re excited to get people back on snow.”

They are still hiring, so they can be open as much as possible. “Most of our departments still need employees. Anyone looking for full or part time hours we have positions available,” Regenold added.

According to their website, Lutsen plans on being open on Saturday the 19th.

Giants Ridge said on their social media that they hope to be rocking and rolling on Black Friday, the 25th.
