Cloquet celebrated 11th annual craft art and vendor fair

People had a variety of arts, crafts, decoration and other work for sale.

Many vendors were all over Minnesota, including some who traveled from Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Kelly Zink, the Executive Director of Cloquet’s Chamber of Commerce, explained the Craft Art and Vendor fair is for everyone.

“We have 130 crafting booths here, and our goal here is to not have duplicates so we have 130 different crafting booths here.” Zink said.

There is plenty of fun for for the whole family with handmade soaps, some spooky Halloween gifts and other holiday decorations. It is also a great way to show appreciation for both local artists and people who make organic products.

“So there is photography, there’s paintings, there’s of course, homemade woodworking, knitting and all kinds of crafting. So, yes, it’s definitely not, you know, just one type.” Zink said.

Cloquet’s Craft Art and Vendor fair will be open again Saturday, October 15th, from 10am to 5pm.

“And this is a great way for people to cook. And also just kind of it’s not only is it you go in a different state as well, but also local people here and looking to pressure their artistic abilities.” Zink said.
