Following a nice weekend with at least 3” of snowmelt, we begin our workweek with quieter conditions. There are a few chances at wintry weather this week. The first will be a light chance beginning late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Most of the region will see a dusting at best. There shouldn’t be any issues on the roads too. Wednesday will be a nice day although it well start to get breezy ahead of our next weather maker.

Another large low will move out of the Colorado Rockies by the end of the week. The end of the week event will likely begin Thursday and last through Saturday morning. However, it appears it will come in two waves. The first will come Thursday night into Friday. We will get a break Friday before another round of snow returns late Friday into Saturday.

We’re going to see some wet heavy snow out of this. Now, it appears as if the snow will be from the Twin Ports-south. The heaviest snows looks to stay in east central Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin. However, please keep in mind a lot can change by the end of the week and as the week progresses we’ll have a better handle on how much snow.
