Justin Liles: Cooler Friday, Nice Weekend

A quick moving front will slide through this evening and create a stronger northerly wind over the big lake. This will likely lead to some light lake effect snow for the south shore. Iron County will likely see 1-2” of light additional snow. The coolest day we see during this nice stretch of warm weather will be Friday. We will see temperatures cool down into the lower 20s, which is closer to our season average. Winds will also be blustery beginning tonight and lasting tomorrow.

Temperatures rebound for the weekend with plenty of sunshine and warmer conditions. Most of the Northland will climb into the mid to upper 30s. Warmth spill over into next week. A large low will emerge out of the Rockies by the end of next week but the track is all over the place. It looks like we will cool down by the end of next week but precipitation is undetermined at this point.
