With the number of COVID-19 cases in northwestern Wisconsin rising, the Wisconsin National Guard is partnering with local health officials and the Bad River Tribe for several more testing events.


Monday, July 20: Ashland
11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Lake Superior Elementary School parking lot (bus lane)
1101 Binsfield Road
Please approach the school from Binsfield Road by entering from Highway 13.

Thursday, July 23: Hurley
10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Hurley School
5503W Range View Drive
Follow the entrance signs along Range View Drive.

Friday, July 24: Mercer
10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
DNR office
5291 N State House Circle
Enter State House Circle from the southern intersection with Highway 51 and approach the DNR office from the south.

Anyone 5 years of age and older is eligible to be tested at these sites. Testing through the collection sites will be free of cost. 

Ashland County officials said the Ashalnd event is open to all community memvers within the Red Cliff and Bad River Tribes as well as Ashland, Bayfield, Iron, and surrounding counties.

Iron County officials said the Hurley and Mercer events are open to anyone.

A maximum of 400 tests will be available at each site.
