The Iron County Sheriff's Office says a 51-year-old man was killed in a snowmobile crash on Saturday night.

The sheriff's office says around 11:15 Saturday night they received a report of a snowmobile crash on Duck Lake Road in the town of Knight.  

The information received was that the snowmobile had gone off the road, and struck a tree. The driver was reportedly unresponsive.

On scene, emergency personnel attempted lifesaving measures, but were unsuccessful.

The 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity, and hometown were not released.

The crash is under investigation.
