Bad River man arrested after overdose death

A 39-year-old Bad River man has been arrested in connection with an overdose death.

Ashland County Sheriff Mick Brennan said someone died Monday morning in Odanah. 

The suspect is facing possible charges of first-degree reckless homicide "for allegedly causing the death of another human being by delivery of a controlled substance, the use of which leads to death."

He may also face charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm, being a felon in possession of body armor, possession of a Schedule 2 controlled substance, and a third offense OWI. 

The Ashland County Sheriff's Office did not name the victim.
