Scattered light snow and wintry mix with drizzle at times will linger across the Northland through the day, gradually thinning out. Snow chances linger along the South Shore Saturday with a northerly wind directing cooler air across Lake Superior. Additional accumulation in this area will be 1-3" with less than an inch for the rest of the Northland.

The Winter Weather Advisory remains in to effect until 12 p.m. Friday for western counties, including Beltrami, Koochiching, Itasca, Cass, Aitkin, and Crow Wing Counties. Mixed precipitation is expected with freezing drizzle at times and gusty winds. 

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. for Douglas, Bayfield, Burnett, and Washburn Counties in Wisconsin and Souther Lake, Southern St. Louis, Carlton and Pine Counties in Minnesota. Mixed precipitation is expected with freezing drizzle at times and gusty winds.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Ashland and Iron Counties until 6 a.m. Saturday. Additional accumulation of 1-2" with up to 3" locally is expected.
