Frost Advisory tonight

Our calm conditions will continue into the night, with partly cloudy skies and a light southwesterly wind. Overnight lows will range from 33 degrees in Butternut and Hibbing to 41 in Baudette and Brainerd.

The National Weather Service has issued a Frost Advisory for most of the Northland, in effect from 11pm Sunday until 8am Monday. The southern portion of St. Louis, Lake, and Cook Counties as well as Ashland, Iron, Sawyer, and Price Counties will be under a Freeze Warning during this time. 

Temperatures will improve tomorrow, with most of the Northland reaching the sixties in the afternoon. Areas by the lake will be cooler, with Grand Marais only reaching 47 degrees.

The next chance of rain will be spotty showers Tuesday night, becoming widespread on Wednesday. Wednesday's rain could continue into Thursday and produce accumulations over half an inch in some areas.

Tonight
A 20 percent chance of showers before 10pm. Widespread frost, mainly after 5am. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.
Monday
A chance of sprinkles between 1pm and 3pm. Areas of frost before 7am. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 61. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
Tuesday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Wednesday
Showers likely, mainly after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54. Breezy, with a northeast wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Thursday
A chance of showers, mainly before 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Breezy, with a northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Friday
Sunny, with a high near 68. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday
A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Breezy, with an east wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Sunday
A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. Breezy, with an east wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
