The State Patrol reports that motorists have been stopping on Interstate 35 just south of Duluth due to near zero visibility. Sustained winds of 33 mph with gusts of up to 60 mph have been reported in Duluth. The strong winds have reduced visibility to near zero.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution and take the next exit to get off the freeway. The State Patrol says you should not stop on the freeway.

MnDOT recommends checking 511mn.org before traveling.
