Sabrina Ullman: Sunshine returns tomorrow
Tonight will be mostly cloudy with a northwest wind of 5-15 mph. Overnight lows will range from 3 degrees in Ironwood to -13 degrees in International Falls. A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for Koochiching and Cook Counties as well as the northern portion of Lake County, in effect from 3 am to 9 am.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with afternoon highs near 10 degrees. Wind chill values will be between -15 and -25. Temperatures will drop below zero again on Thursday night, but that will be the last night for at least a week that we see widespread below-zero lows.
Temperatures will warm to the low 20s by the weekend and to the upper 20s to low 30s by the middle of next week. There is a chance of light snow from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning with 1-3 inches of accumulation.
