Justin Liles: Frost possible tonight

After days of high winds and being annoyed, our fortunes will shift to lighter winds, drier conditions, and more sunshine. Overnight clouds will clear enough for widespread frost around the region Thursday morning. Showers end up across southern areas this evening, with skies clearing from north to south overnight.

Dry conditions will then prevail throughout the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Wind Thursday will be northerly at 5 to 15 mph with gusts around 20 mph. The next chance of light rain doesn’t return until Memorial Day.
