Running, jumping, and weaving through inflatable obstacles for 3.1 miles is the reason it's called the Insane Inflatable 5k.
"It's a different event," said Chris Allen from Kool 101.7. "Nobody really does this. It's basically a play area for adults if you think about it."
"Whenever somebody asks how I describe our obstacles, you know I say picture your ordinary child's bounce house inflated by 100 times," said Jackie Dionne the Logistics and Volunteer Coordinator for the Insane Inflatable 5k.
Taking place at the Richard Bong Airport in Superior, Wis. the course requires you to channel your inner child.
"They're a lot more challenging than they look, but at the same time if you fall down it doesn't hurt and it's still fun," added Dionne.
The event hosted around 600 people with donations going to a local rotary club in Duluth and the Circle of Hope.
