"Having their success after that first year of not winning a game, seeing them come from where they were then to where they are now. Wow, that's amazing," said Commissioner of the Midwest Premier Football League Chris Larson.

They currently sit undefeated this season which is almost a replica of last year when the team remained undefeated and added a title.

"It was fantastic. Obviously coming into a team that hadn't had that much success and to have it turn around like that and go undefeated, win a championship, and be a part of that is amazing," said middle linebacker Anthony Stewart.

They were the Cinderella story of the MPFL and they are looking to repeat as champions. The team is set to host the Lakes Area Snowmen based out of Alexandria, Minn. this Saturday. Their strategy remains to "Defend the Den."

"It's been protect the house. We do not lose, we do not consider losing. It's not a thought in our game plan or in our strategy, it's just what we do," said defensive end Tony O'Neil.

O'Neil is just in his first season with the Grizzlies, but he is ready to be a part of something special with this group of guys.

"It's not so much the trophy, it's just more of a pride thing with us," added O'Neil.

As a veteran to the team, Stewart said his advice to the players is just to play like they have all year.

"It's still the game of football. We're all here because we love the game of football, we've played the game of football. It's just another game," he added.

The Grizzlies are scheduled to host the Snowmen on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Superior, Wisconsin.
