Lea Zmurko: It will soon all quiet down
It is a busy morning with winds and rain showers continuing to pass through, but improvements are underway.

The light bands of showers will bring just under a quarter of an inch of precipitation to the rest of the region as it gradually diminishes. While the howling winds continue as many look to head out the door, they will start to come down in the evening as the Northland will finally experience some peace and quiet overnight.
The wind will shift north tomorrow, and temperatures will slowly start to climb back up into the 60s for the rest of the week. This will bring us back to seasonable conditions despite the chilly overnights which can still lead to some frost.
