The University of Wisconsin-Superior hosted a traditional Ojibwe games showcase Tuesday.
“We’re just trying to showcase these traditional game so people can learn them, have fun with them, and learn a little bit of Ojibwe traditions and storytelling and history as well,” explained organizer Dillion Krisik.
The event gave those in attendance a firsthand look at a moccasin game and Ojibwe lacrosse.
“I love to just show off more of the culture and help keep it going through the generations,” said Krisik.
