Superior Mayor announces summer plans, inlcuding 4th parade and fireworks

Superior Mayor Jim Paine announced the return of the city's playground program, outdoor concerts and what he called the "biggest 4th of July celebration yet" on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, Mayor Paine said that the playground program would return to all six sites on June 14th at no cost to the public.

Additionally, Paine said Bayside Sounds would kick off in July with eight shows in parks across the city.

Finally, Paine announced that the city would mark the 4th of July with their biggest celerbation yet, including the full return of the parade downtown, fireworks over the water, and a huge party on the Island.
