When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. And, that is exactly what one Superior family did to celebrate their daughter's birthday this weekend.

Nine year old Lexi Checketts was encouraged by her parents to set up a lemonade stand Sunday.

While sitting at her lemonade stand, she was surprised by a parade of people who drove by to wish her a happy birthday.

"My friends, my grandma and grandpas, my aunties and uncles," Checketts said.

Checketts' mom, Hannah said Lexi didn't think she'd get any customers at her lemonade stand, due to ongoing COVID concerns, but the drive-by ended up being a great turnout.

Lexi said she was very happy to see everyone.
