The Superior Police Department says at least one person was injured in a Sunday morning shooting.

Police say officers reported hearing gunshots in the vicinity of 628 Tower Avenue and/or 702 Tower Avenue in the North End bar district around 2:15 Sunday morning.

Police say there were large crowds in front of both businesses, and that they determined shots were fired from one or more firearms.

The person known to be injured in the incident is being treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
