A 21-year-old rural Douglas County man died after a dump truck rolled over him. This happened on Tuesday morning at a business in the South End.


The Superior Police Department says police officers, firefighters, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance responded about 9:15 a.m to 6327 Tower Avenue.

They reported that a Kenworth dump truck moved from its stationary location and rolled over the man. He had been servicing the dump truck at the time.

According to Wednesday's statement from police, preliminary indications are that this was a tragic accident, however the investigation is ongoing and they are not releasing any information at this time.
