Event raises money for Life House

People listened to music and drank beer for a good cause on Saturday night as Ellipsis Duluth held its Fourth Annual Life House fundraiser outside the Cedar Lounge in Superior.

Life House is a group that helps homeless young adults in the Northland. The fundraiser brought in money for period products for women at the facility.

"Feminine hygiene products are obviously a necessity, but government funding doesn't cover them. And although Life House has always found the funding to make sure that their youth are covered in that area, I figured that I would just go ahead and take that burden away from them and try and create the funding for that particular issue,” said Brittany Lind of Ellipsis Duluth.

Ingeborg Von Agassiz and Jen West performed at the event, and Earth Rider Brewery provided the venue.
