Earlier garbage pickups in Superior due to New Year's holiday

The Superior Public Works Department will be closed on Friday, Dec. 31. Due to the holiday, garbage pickup is happening earlier than usual. The city asks residents to put out their garbage by 7 a.m. the day before the usual pickup.

Garbage pickup will return to its regular schedule the week of Jan. 3.

The city landfill will also be closed Dec. 31 because of the holiday.
