Over the weekend the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team split their DI in DC tournament to hand head coach Maura Crowell her 200th win.

It came Saturday as the Bulldogs held off St. Lawrence University 4-3 thanks to an overtime game-winning goal from Elizabeth Giguere.

The victory brings Crowell to her 107th overall with the program. Throughout her decorated career one recent win has stuck out coming in the 2020-2021 NCAA Tournament quarterfinals.

"That Colgate [University] win in the tournament last year was pretty special, alma mater and all that aside," Crowell recalled. "More so just a big moment for the program here, in the NCAA Tournament to get back into the Frozen Four that was one that stands out."

Crowell and the Bulldogs will hunt for win 201 as they return home this weekend for the first time in 47 days. The ninth ranked Bulldogs (7-5) are set to host second ranked Ohio State University Friday at 6:01pm and Saturday at 3:01pm at AMSOIL Arena.
