Duluth, Minn. - They've played 12 times since the calendar changed to 2019 and they're 10-2 and winners of six straight games. Two teams are at the top of the NSIC North Division, one of them is MSU-Moorhead. The other is UMD. They'll meet this weekend and the Bulldogs beat the Dragons in duluth last month.

"Our goal all the time is to just get better every single day and I know we say it all the time and it is this phrase that we say, but we really mean it," says UMD Head Coach Mandy Pearson.

Both teams are 15-3 in conference play, but before their match-up in Moorhead on Saturday. UMD (16-5 overall) has one in Aberdeen, South Dakota on Friday against Northern State. The Bulldogs beat the Wolves last month too. Just four regular season games remain before the NSIC Tournament. Sammy Kozlowski and Sarah Grow average double-figures in scoring - 11.8 and 10.6 respectively - but 'D' is the key.

"Our defense has kind of been what has kept us in a lot of games and we have to come out and play really good team defense," says Pearson.
