UWS completes sweep over Northland

In their fourth meeting this season, the University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) men's hockey team completed the series sweep against Northland College winning 7-1 Friday at Wessman Arena.

The Yellowjackets won all four meetings by three goals or more. The first two were only counted as exhibition games.

Five different Yellowjackets found the back of the net. Coltyn Bates and Dylan Johnson each scored twice for UWS. Cameron Coutre scored the lone goal for the LumberJacks.

UWS (2-0) is set to play a home-and-home series against the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire starting with a road trip Wednesday, Feb. 12. Northland (0-2) will visit the University of Wisconsin Stout that same day.
