Jets Ink Two-Year Deal with Former Bulldog Neal Pionk

The Winnipeg Jets announced Sunday that the team has agreed to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $3,000,000 with former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) defenseman and Hermantown native Neal Pionk.

The 23-year-old was acquired from the New York Rangers back on June 17. Last season he recorded 26 points (6g, 20a).

Pionk signed with the Rangers after playing 82 games in two seasons with UMD. He made his professional debut in 2017-18 when he played 28 games for the Rangers and had 14 points (1G, 13A).
