UWS men's, women's tennis trounce Crown 9-0

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) men's and women's tennis teams defeated Crown College 9-0 Sunday in Superior.

The Yellowjackets improved to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) with the victory and will host Martin Luther College Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Emily Wald won the first set against Crown at number one singles before her opponent retired due to injury in the second. Chiyono Owa topped the Storm, 6-0, 6-2 on court two for a 4-0 advantage. For the full box score click here.
 
The Yellowjackets moved to 4-5 overall and 2-0 in the UMAC with the victory while Crown dropped to 0-4 on the season.
 
Next up, Superior will host St. Scholastica Tuesday at 4 p.m.
