Yellowjackets tennis splits home doubleheader against Minnesota Morris

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) men's tennis team earned the win over the University of Minnesota, Morris Sunday in Superior while the Yellowjacket women fell to the Cougars. 

The UWS men defeated Morris 9-0 in the non-conference matchup. In number two doubles Andre Luiz and Jacob Zacharias defeated the Cougars 8-0. In number three singles play Luiz downed his opponent 6-0, 6-0.

Now 3-1 they're back in action Sunday hosting the University of Wisconsin La Crosse at 12pm.

The UWS women fell 5-4 to Morris. In number one doubles Maya Callaway and Chiyono Owa beat the Cougars 8-4. Callaway won her number one singles match in three sets. 

The Yellowjackets (2-2) are back in action Saturday the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point at 12pm.
