UWS women win 16th straight against CSS, Saints take down Northland for second time this season

The University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) women's basketball team defeated the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) in women's hoops, while CSS took down Northland College in men's hoops for the second time this season.

UWS took down CSS for their 16th consecutive time winning 57-48. This win snapped the Yellowjackets three game losing skid.

Kaelyn Christian led the Yellowjackets with 15 points. Bryton Kukowski was also in double figures scoring 10 points, while Ellie Leadstrom led the team with 10 rebounds.

Lizzie Altendorf led the Saints with 15 points. Morgan Anderson added 12 points and 7 rebounds.

In their second meeting this season, CSS took down Northland College by a final score of 93-56. The Saints only had a five point lead heading into halftime.

Jack Silgen led the Saints on the men's side with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Noah Winsett added 16 points. Jordan Brennan had 11 points for the LumberJacks.

CSS improves to 5-0 on the season with their win over Northland.
