UWS Women Clinch Share of UMAC Title, Men Fall on Senior Day

The University of Wisconsin-Superior women's basketball team defeated Bethany Lutheran 74-61, while the men fell to the Vikings 86-69 on senior day Saturday.

Having lost to the Vikings back in January the women got the revenge they wanted, snapping the Vikings nine-game win streak which earned UWS the No. 1 overall seed heading into postseason play.

Hannah Norlin led all scorers with 29 points and 12 rebounds.

The men dropped their fourth straight game falling to the Vikings. Senior Montroy Scott had 25 points for the Yellowjackets.

UWS will close our the regular season on the road against North Central.
