UWS names next women’s basketball head coach

On Friday the University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) named their next women’s basketball head coach, Eveline Parsons.
She will become the ninth head coach in program history, taking over for Emily Carpenter
Parsons comes to UWS after serving as an Assistant Coach for UW-Steven’s Point for three seasons. This past year she helped the Pointers to their first NCAA tournament appearance since the 2015-16 season. Prior to Stevens Point she two years with Division II Tusculum as first a graduate assistant then an assistant coach/head JV coach.
Parsons, a Metairie, Louisiana native, will begin her run with the Yellowjackets on June 16.
