It wasn’t a win, but the 13th ranked University of Wisconsin-Superior (UWS) men’s hockey kept their unbeaten streak at ten games with a 2-2 tie against UW-River Falls on Friday at Wessman Arena.
Less than 30 seconds into play, Reed Stark found the back of the net, giving UWS a 1-0 lead, but UW-River Falls would tie things back up at 1-1.
The score would hold that way until Justin Dauphinais scored in the third period to give UWS a 2-1 lead. However, UW-River Falls would tie things up at 2-2 on the power play and send the game to overtime.
In overtime, neither team would score, sending the game to a shootout, which UWS would lose.
