Yellowjackets Score in Final Minutes to Win Bridge Battle

Following two scoreless periods, sophomore C.C. Hayes buried a rebound with 1:11 left in the third period for the game winner as the UW-Superior women's hockey team shut out St. Scholastica 2-0 at Mars Lakeview Arena Tuesday.

Senior goaltender Catherine Johnson made 20 saves and earned the second shutout of her career.

The Yellowjackets moved to 5-1-1 on the season and snapped a three-game losing streak to CSS.

The Saints fall to 4-6-0 on the season and are off until January 10.
