Yellowjackets sting UW-Stout in WIAC tournament opener

The fourth ranked University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS) men's hockey team defeated fifth ranked University of Wisconsin Stout 2-1 in round one of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) tournament on Monday night. 

Dylan Johnson and Chad Lopez scored for the Yellowjackets. 

Myles Hektor made 34 saves in net for UWS. 

UWS advances to the WIAC semifinals. They'll face top-seeded University of Wisconsin River Falls on the road Wednesday at 7:05pm.
