UMD women's hockey stays put at #6 in latest poll
The UMD women’s hockey team has lost six games in a row, which for the Bulldogs, rarely has ever happened in their storied history.
The losses have piled up but the Bulldogs haven’t moved in the rankings, staying at number 6 in the USCHO.Com polls.
Last week was the first time the Bulldogs had moved from the number 4 spot since mid-October. The Bulldogs went up against the top ranked team in the country, the Wisconsin Badgers, and lost both games by a score of 2-1, with one of the games just 30 seconds away from an overtime tie.
UMD hopes to avoid a seventh straight loss when they hit the road this weekend to take on Bemidji State on Friday at 6:01 p.m.
