Web Extra: Sandelin, Perunovich Comment Ahead of #3 UMD's Series at #17 Wisconsin

Duluth, Minn. - After a split with UMass Lowell last weekend at home to start the 2019-2020 regular, the UMD Men's Hockey Team hits the road for the first time this season as they'll renew their rivalry with #17 Wisconsin. Both teams were once part of the WCHA. The Bulldogs are now in the NCHC while the Badgers are in the Big Ten.

It will be 168th and 169th meetings, but the first ones since March 15th and 16th of 2013. The Badgers swept those games, which were part of the WCHA Tournament. Wisconsin leads the all-time series at 91-61-15.

On Wednesday, UMD Head Coach Scott Sandelin and junior defenseman Scott Perunovich met with media members. To hear their thoughts on last week's series and the upcoming series in Madison, click on the video box above.

UMD and Wisconsin face off on Friday and Saturday. Both games are at 7:07 p.m.
