No. 8 UMD Wins Fourth Straight Against Mankato

The No. 8 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women's hockey team extended its win streak to four games Friday night with a 5-4 victory over Minnesota State University-Mankato.

Five different players scored a goal for the Bulldogs, while Maddie Rooney had 24 saves. Netting goals was Ryleigh Houston, McKenzie Hewett, Kylie Hanley, Sydney Brodt and Gabbie Hughes.

UMD (16-9-4) will aim for their second series sweep Saturday afternoon. Puck drop scheduled for 3:07 p.m.
