Bulldogs in the Polls 11/18

Following a series split with Miami, the University of Minnesota Duluth UMD) men's hockey team came in at No. 9 in the U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO.com) Division I men's poll. UMD slid three spots this week. The Bulldogs (5-4-1) return to AMSOIL Arena for a weekend series with Colorado College.

UMD junior Scott Perunovich earned his second National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) honor this season being named the Defenseman of the Week. Perunovich leads the Bulldogs in scoring and did this weekend with his four points against Miami.

After falling to No. 7 Ohio state on Saturday and then skating to a tie Sunday, the UMD women's hockey team stayed put at No. 10 in this week's USCHO.com poll. The Bulldogs (7-4-1) will host the No. 1 University of Minnesota for a two-game series beginning Friday.

After falling in back-to-back road games against two ranked opponents to close out the regular season, the UMD volleyball fell to No. 8, tying with Concordia-St. Paul in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll. The Bulldogs (23-5) will open up Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Tournament play against Augustana on Friday.
